Newborn Hearing Screening Designation
Our UVA Health Children's audiology team serves as the only designated provider of follow-up hearing screenings for newborns in the area. That means that if your baby doesn't pass their first hearing exam, we're equipped to do their follow-up assessment. While most babies will pass their follow-up, we can help find the cause if they're unable to.
