The Division of Asthma, Allergy, and Immunology seeks non-smoking adults ages 18-65 with asthma and no significant medical conditions for a research study. You may be eligible for this study if: you have asthma with or without allergies, use a rescue inhaler (albuterol), or have previously screened for our asthma studies in the past (IRB# 19512). The study involves 3-4 visits, each lasting between 1-6 hours. Visits involve questionnaires, blood draws, lung function (breathing) tests, taking an experimental medicine, and pregnancy tests for females. Study-related exams, tests and experimental medication provided at no cost. To determine eligibility for this study, you will first complete a screening study (IRB#19512). Compensation for the screening study is up to $125. In screening, visits will involve questionnaires, blood draws, lung function (breathing) tests, and pregnancy tests for females.
