Bio & Overview
Samantha C. Minnicozzi is a pediatric allergist and immunologist who specializes in food and drug allergies as well as treating immunodeficiency syndromes. She completed her pediatric residency training at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore before transitioning to Boston Massachusetts where she completed her fellowship in Clinical Allergy and Immunology at Boston Children’s Hospital in affiliation with Harvard University.
Samantha is an active researcher and participated in clinical and basic science research. She studied oral food challenge outcomes and potential markers which may predict individuals who are more likely to pass or fail oral food challenges. After her fellowship, she and her husband moved to Charlottesville where they both joined the faculty at the University of Virginia.
In her free time, Samantha enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and dog, Dobby, as well as traveling, reading, and baking.
