Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE) Services
An inflamed esophagus, due to allergies, causes eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE). At this clinic, we evaluate and treat EoE, which may include:
- Food allergies
- Reflux
- Dysphagia
- Swallowing problems
At our clinic, you'll meet with:
- A gastroenterologist
- An allergist
- A nutrition specialist
A Team Approach to EoE
We use an endoscopy to see if your child's esophagus has inflamed cells (eosinophils).
An allergist will also test for food allergies and possible airborne allergens, like pollen. Along with a nutritionist, our specialists will work together to provide individualized care for your child's EoE.
