Bio & Overview
Evan Cordrey, MD, is both a general adult and child and adolescent psychiatrist who works with children and families to diagnose and treat mental health disorders.
His expertise includes the transition from childhood ADHD to adult ADHD and psychotherapies for adolescents. His research interests include anxiety, depression, and ADHD.
Dr. Cordrey was born and raised in Denver and grew up frequently visiting family in Virginia. He received his undergraduate degree in psychology from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, and completed a year of research in pediatric audiology. He earned his medical degree from Creighton’s Phoenix campus.
He then completed his general psychiatry residency and his fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Virginia.
Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, running, tennis, traveling, and improving his Spanish skills.
