Joseph Sorenson, MD, is a pediatrician who cares for newborns and children of all ages.
“I strive to partner with the parents and families of children to provide the best possible care while reducing extraneous testing and unnecessary treatments,” he says.
He was born and raised in Florida, where he grew up with a love for science. He earned his medical degree from the University of Miami and completed his pediatric residency at East Carolina University. Sorenson previously worked in pediatric practice and as a pediatric hospitalist.
He and his wife have four children. They love living in the Shenandoah Valley and are looking forward to becoming grandparents.
