Bio & Overview
Kristi Gott, PNP, is a pediatric nurse practitioner at UVA Health Children's in Charlottesville, Virginia. She has cared for cystic fibrosis patients and their families for the past 20 years with steadfast passion regarding quality initiatives and partnering concepts.
In addition to caring for patients, her current work focuses on quality improvement in cystic fibrosis transition and partnering, as well as health and wellness in the era of Highly Effective Modulator Therapy (HEMT).
She is passionate about attending to the unique needs of each patient and family as they navigate their lives around and through this condition. Her best days at work are when she gets to share important events in the lives of her patients and their families and assist with problem-solving/overcoming barriers.
Currently, she is initiating a transition pilot program in our children’s center by sharing the awesome work of our team and helping others navigate starting their own programs.
