I think Laura Hitchcock is a very good practitioner. She listens and cares about her patients. She also has a good sense of humor and that helps.
I am a very difficult patient because I question everything. Dr. Hitchcock has always been very attentive and understanding in spite of my quirky nature. I feel like she connects with me which gives me great confidence going forward.

This was my 1st time seeing Ms. Hitchcock. I was very impressed with her "bedside manner". Her care, attention and determination to figure out what was making me sick was what I expect from an outstanding institution such as UVA. I would definitely recommend her to any patient, new or otherwise.
