Lauren grew up in a military family, living in seven different places before graduating from high school and pursuing her passion for nursing. She earned her bachelor of science in nursing from Radford University and began her career in a surgical/trauma intensive care unit.
Her growing interest in preventive medicine inspired her to continue her education at George Mason University, where she earned a master of science in nursing and became a family nurse practitioner.
Lauren lives in Northern Virginia with her husband, their three boys, and golden retriever. She enjoys spending her weekends cheering on her sons at sporting events, traveling, and connecting with friends and family.
