Bio & Overview
Mackenzie DeGraff was born and raised in Brewer, a small town in central Maine. She moved south to attend Wofford College, a private liberal arts school in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and earned a degree in biology with a concentration in medical humanities. From there she moved to Nashville, where she attended Vanderbilt University for her Master of Science in Nursing.
At Vanderbilt, Ms. DeGraff specialized in pediatrics and completed her clinical rotations at Piedmont Pediatrics in Warrenton and RVA Pediatrics in Richmond. After graduating and passing her boards, she joined UVA in 2015. She is an active member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
Ms. DeGraff lives in Richmond and enjoys spending her free time with her fiancé and dog. She also teaches group fitness classes at American Family Fitness and enjoys traveling and experiencing new cultures.
