A Phase 2, Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Study to Evaluate the Safety and Efficacy of NEU-411 in Companion Diagnostic-Positive Participants with Early Parkinson’s Disease (NEULARK)
The Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Division of the Department of Neurology seeks adults ages 40-80 with early Parkinson’s Disease for a research study. The purpose of the study is to test if an investigational treatment called NEU-411 is safe and will help prevent or slow the progression of PD[TD1.1] compared to placebo. [BE2.1] You may be eligible for this study if: you are not currently taking carbidopa-levodopa and have been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease for at least 6 months. Study involves taking an investigational treatment or placebo[BE3.1][MB3.2], blood draws, brain MRI, DaT scan, and chest CT scan. There are approximately [CC4.1] 20 visits over the course of a year. Study-related procedures including imaging scans, blood draws, and study drug are provided at no cost.
