As a pediatric cardiologist, Michael Shorofsky, MD, specializes in interventional catheterizations for children and adults with congenital heart disorders.
A Baltimore native, Dr. Shorofsky earned his undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering from Syracuse University. He returned to his hometown for medical school at the University of Maryland.
Dr. Shorofsky completed his pediatric residency at INOVA Children's Hospital and his pediatric cardiology fellowship at UVA. He also completed a 2-year fellowship in pediatric and adult congenital catheterization at Children's Hospital Colorado.
