Dr. Joyce Suh was born and raised in Chicago. She attended Amherst College, where she graduated with a degree in Psychology. She earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Connecticut. She continued her training through a lifespan neuropsychology internship at the University of Florida, and a post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at Kennedy Krieger Institute and Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Dr. Suh specializes in neuropsychological assessment of children with neurological and neurodevelopmental disorders, including congenital/genetic disorders, epilepsy, oncology, brain injury, and children with a history of prematurity.
Her research interests include outcome research, including studying neurocognitive profiles to identify subgroups and factors that may be associated with more positive outcomes. She is passionate about her clinical work and mentoring and teaching others. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and spending time with friends and family.
