Eden G Henderson, FNP

Eden Henderson, FNP, is a family nurse practitioner who provides care for patients at the Every Woman’s Life Program located in the Breast Care Center.

She has a special interest in women’s health and preventive medicine. “I love working one-on-one with people to address their current concerns and strategize about preventing future health problems,” she says.

The oldest of five children, Henderson grew up in the Midwest and Virginia. Her father worked with medical students, leading her to develop an interest in healthcare as a child.

She majored in international studies in college and spent much of her 20s in other countries. She returned to school to become an advanced nurse practitioner because of her interest in public and community health.

Henderson is a wife and mother of young children. In her rare moments of free time, she likes to garden, hike, read, and knit.
