Elisa Hampton, MD, is a general pediatrician. Board-certified in pediatric hospital medicine, she serves as medical director of the newborn service. In addition to caring for infants on the well newborn service, she also provides primary care to children.
Originally from Northern Virginia, Dr. Hampton completed her undergraduate degree at William & Mary and earned her medical degree at UVA. She moved to New York City for her residency and, after finishing her training, stayed to work for several years at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine.
Dr. Hampton and her husband have three children. Relocating to Charlottesville in 2020, they’ve been enjoying getting to know the area, spending time outdoors, and meeting new friends in the neighborhood.
