Bio & Overview
Kristi Lanser, DNP, NNP-BC, is a neonatal nurse practitioner. She treats newborns in their first few months of life. Lanser was born in Long Island, New York, and moved back and forth between London and Tokyo while she was growing up.
She earned her undergraduate degree at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Boston. Then, she completed a nursing residency and worked as a NICU nurse at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia. She completed a master’s degree in nursing education at Drexel University in Philadelphia. Then, she earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
She is board-certified and has a board specialization in neonatal care. Lanser decided to pursue neonatal nursing because she loves the field. She is passionate about working with families. She enjoys sharing knowledge with new parents to help them care for their newborn, who may have complex medical needs.
