Bio & Overview
Dr. Lee specializes in pediatric critical care and works primarily in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at UVA Health Children's. She is also interested in quality improvement work, especially in reducing catheter-associated bloodstream infections.
Dr. Lee was born in Minnesota, but grew up in New Jersey. She graduated from Princeton University and earned her medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. After completing her training at Children’s National Medical Center and The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, she joined UVA Health Children's in 2006.
She is the mother of two children, a boy and a girl, and her husband is a church musician at a local church. Her interests include gardening, cooking and spending time with her family.
