Bio & Overview
Timothy Layng, DO, is a board-certified emergency medicine doctor. Dr. Layng grew up in a small town in northeast Pennsylvania and attended college at Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. He moved to Virginia for medical school and has stayed ever since. He completed residency training in Richmond at Virginia Commonwealth University and fellowship training at UVA.
In addition to his primary board certification in emergency medicine, Dr. Layng is certified in clinical informatics by the American Board of Preventative Medicine.
