Bio & Overview
Lisa Hainstock, MD, is board-certified in both hospital medicine and general pediatrics. She is a pediatric hospitalist, director of the pediatric residency program, and co-director of the clinical educator track. She has special interests in children with medical complexity, infectious disease, and medical education.
Dr. Hainstock grew up in Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin in Madison. There, she majored in Medical Microbiology and Immunology. She attended medical school at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and completed her residency at the University of Arizona.
Dr. Hainstock lives with her husband and two young children in Charlottesville. She is an avid and accomplished long-distance runner and also enjoys hiking, camping, snowboarding, and indulging her artistic side by doing art projects with her children.
