Meet the Team
Our providers consist of two surgeons and two nurse practitioners. Both of our surgeons are board-certified urologists who are fellowship-trained in pediatric urology. In addition, our team includes a care coordinator nurse, medical assistants, and patient care technicians. We work closely with social workers, child psychologists, child life specialists, and translation services to get your child through each and every test and procedure comfortably.
For surgical cases, our pediatric anesthesiologists provide excellent care. At UVA Health Children's, our anesthesiologists are fellowship-trained in treating children.

Pediatric Robotics Program
Our pediatric robotics program offers the latest approach to minimally invasive surgery for both the kidney and the bladder. At UVA Health Children's, we perform robotic surgery on children as young as 3 months of age, with the most common surgeries being:
- Ureteropelvic junction (UPJ) obstruction
- Vesicoureteral reflux
- Duplication anomalies
