Bio & Overview
Alex Biller, DO, is a pediatric gastroenterologist, or a doctor who helps patients with gut health. She treats children who have challenges related to their stomach and digestive system.
Biller completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia. She completed her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York. Then, she completed a pediatrics residency at the Children’s Hospital at Erlanger through the University of Tennessee. She also completed a pediatric gastroenterology fellowship at Children’s Mercy Kansas City.
Biller originally thought she wanted to be a forensic pathologist, but she discovered a love for pediatrics while working in a children’s hospital.
“Not only do I get to help kids be their best selves, but I get to do it with a bit of pizzazz and plenty of stickers,” she says.
Her approach to care is sensible and personalized. “I think it’s always important to remember that kids are not little adults,” she says. “They may need a unique approach in their medical care.”
